One of the major challenges discovered within the industry is the lack of data and information shared both up- and downstream in the value chain.  What type of data creates value for the metallic value chain?

To explore this and how to meet the challenge was one of the main focus areas of Digitala stambanan's innovation project, where ChainTraced platform was used to demonstrate how product data can be collected and visualized for all parties within the metallic value chain.

  • SSAB - a supplier of sheet metals to Nitator,
  • BUFAB - a supplier of C-parts to Nitator  
  • NITATOR - who process and assembles parts for end customers in the automotive industry.
